Water Fire

On Saturday, September 22, Smithfield High School was well represented at the annual Salute to Educators WaterFire event.  Liz Russillo, Smithfield’s Teacher of the Year, was honored as a torchbearer in the WaterFire lighting ceremony.  Additionally, in Memorial Park, Smithfield High School’s Career and Technical Education programs were highlighted, as three Smithfield Career and Technical Education students showcased our Engineering and Computer Science pathways with an interactive Paper Circuits activity.

Cars and Coffee

One of our unique social advisory topics is Cars and Coffee.  PE Teacher Frank Russell works with local car enthusiasts to share classic cars with SHS students.

Unified PE

Another unique program is our Unified PE program.  SHS students work with some of our special education students.

SHS Pink Out

The annual SHS Pink Out Soccer event was another success.  Many thanks to the Pink Out Committee for organizing a fantastic event to support the Gloria Gemma Foundation.
